Product Review
Last week I came across a new product...Simply screen by plaid. I was super excited!! Could it be?? Screen printing made easy?
I was going to purchase it online, but decided to take a chance on my local scrapbook store having it...SCORE! (They never have the "new" stuff) and it was on sale!!
So I purchased several tank tops and t-shirts (also on sale), a stencil set...my stencil set had 4 stencils, each set is about $9.99, and they have 1-4 stencils per set, 3 paint colors...$2.99 each (they were out of black...of coarse!), and a cardboard t-shirt holder. All in all it was about $20.
Well, it really did work!
Pro's; fast, easy, easy clean up, value price, kid friendly
Con's; the stencils adhesive back could be more "sticky", hated cleaning the stencils each time and then letting it dry before going to the next shirt, some, not much, bleeding (probably user error..too much paint, not enough etc.).
I am looking forward to trying more stencils and can't wait for the black to get in stock.
I would recommend this for a fun weekend/party project with the kidos!!
Here was my finished product! Please leave me a comment if you have purchase this product and what you thought of it. Also any tips you may have! Thanks!

Estranged Calender Page
I purchased the "estranged kit" from http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/ ! It is an awesome kit and right now they have it on sale for $10. It comes with soo many papers and embellishments, it's definately a deal!
I have been slowly working on my calendar pages for 2010. I usually use a premade kit from http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/ but I decided to try to make one from scratch using the new "estranged" kit. My daughter edited her pictures and I made the scrapbook/calendar page.
Please feel free to comment!
